core is the new project of MAKOTO ISHIWATA.
drawing on almost 20 years experience as a skateborder,MAKOTO has devised a new function for retired skateboards.by extracting,then reconstructing.
the core/nucleus from stripes of bord laminartion,a completely new aesthetic is born.

this exhibition's Concept is conversion of human body into core from core of skateboard.
he made a full scale skull.
It is a masterpiece that kept being carved For 15 hours a day,for one month.
